Lite Core - Suggestions welcomed
#31
Thanks for all those anwsers Jerry!
Yeah... no, forget the burn to CD idea then, XFCE is a must, even in Lili Core. Wink

Thinking about Trinidad Wink ... would using the Debian version Ubuntu is based on be worth it considering.
I know I'm speaking through my hat not even knowing if Debian has an LTS version but I mean would the ressources/size and workaround to compensate for lost Ubuntu functions break the project?

Could a stupid question, you don't have to go into details, you can tell me "Sit down n00b!" Wink

This might sound like a "wild" idea, but what about having some "insider program" like thing for Lite Core? Having some users to try and use Lite Core before any RC, so they can provide better feedback on most relevant features and settings.

Like the main LL, Core will likely have an RC.

What I meant is having some users try and use Lite Core before any RC release.

Provide better feedback regarding features and settings, yes, I know RCs are meant with that same purpose, but I just think it would be a good idea having some of the more "experienced" users(selected by you)to try and use Lite Core prior to any RC release, given it is a "Core" edition, thus they might see things( LL's target audience might not)and suggest ways to improve it. Just a thought.    :55:
