Can you use 64 bit. Without a
report
It is hard to say. My Intel Atom single core N270 touchscreen Netbooks require 32 bit isos. They have 2 gig of ram. They were built in 2009.
I do all kinds of unaccepted linux installs that other users may not think of because of miss-informed ideas/assumptions . Like this
Code:

Quote:using 32bit os on your 64bit processor is like having a beast encaged..
.
Oh really? Mine flies like the wind. Different strokes for different folks and all that stuff. This laptop is 64 bit capable. But the hard drive came out of a broken IBM Z61 32 bit Laptop. So Instead of reinstalling. I just inserted it this beast. Put a PAE kernel on it. Done. I have no use for Google-Chrome browser or other 64 bit only capable applications. Like you need , I guess.
. I do a very small 32 bit Linux install on a 128MB SD card < It was junk to everybody else > that can be ran on any laptop .

So here is a idea for you. If wanting a answer. Give a link to your gear specs from site online. Here is mine for example.

Good luck maintaining the arabic section of the forum. This team can use the help.
Quote:you will require at least 4GB of ram for 64 bit. (I believe)
Not really. Depends on what the distro has on it mostly. I am not sure about Linux-Lite. Since my Linux Lite installs have more than enough ram for anything. 64 Bit or 32 bit. A KDE heavy or Gnome Heavy distro may fall into that requirement. But I can't really say about Linux-Lite.
Edit: I see you forgot to include this readout in your question?
