Have just installed Linux-Lite 2.8 and it is as you would expect....great!

Me too, was expecting to have to burn iso's etc and it being a bit of a nightmare. once again another painless experience.

Upgraded 2.6 to 2.8 (was aware of hardware stack issue, only 'experimenting' with LL) all good but have lost audio.

Remember, If you upgraded using Lite Upgrade your kernel is still the same as it was in 2.6... If you installed with a new liveusb/livecd then kernel would updated as well...
