Have just installed Linux-Lite 2.8 and it is as you would expect....great!

Me too, was expecting to have to burn iso's etc and it being a bit of a nightmare. once again another painless experience.

Upgraded 2.6 to 2.8 (was aware of hardware stack issue, only 'experimenting' with LL) all good but have lost audio.

If you installed with a new liveusb/livecd then kernel would updated as well...
