Thanks..I guess those themes just don't work for us. I didn't see anything but the xfwm4 files.  Oh well. Thanks very much for your reply..I'll keep trying themes til I find one that works.
P.S.
I found a theme with gt-2.0 and although it wasn't xfce it worked.
Thanks for your input it led me to a working theme.
