Hi,
I use UNetbootin,
It's available for Windows & Linux(in Synaptic)
I have lost count of the number of USB Boot sticks I have created,
and never had a single failure.(touch wood)

Forgot,
Will also download certain ISO's as part of the create process,
or like I do, just use an existing(other) ISO previously downloaded.
