Casper not updating to version xxxxx

Resolving the issues that are preventing a fresh install might be more productive and it might have helped if you had stated that it was a non-standard install when posting the symptoms on 20th July. ----Was not aware that it was a non standard install. Remember I am still very green.

Thank you.  I recalled the post - but not the details.
A quick search in the 'Installing Linux Lite' and 'Updates' sections had failed to find anything.

The post warns that it can result in an unpredictable system with unsupported complications. ---But still suggests getting help in the forum.

When I try to install just casper, this is what I get.

Not sure why you are trying this as casper isn't really the problem.  ---Just trying to do updates and casper fails to install.
If I understand correctly the conflict is due to the presence of lupin-casper (focal only) on a (mainly) jammy system. That is what I am thinking too...

Oh, my apologies, I'm not on here often enough and I am still very green to LL. So should i have simply asked if I could uninstall the Lupin-casper? or, should I be asking how to remove it from the system so the other casper can be installed? Or what should I do now?
