Installed legacy instead of uefi mode

If the laptop/Windows is set up in UEFI mode - did you disable UEFI/Secure Boot use Legacy mode?
If so - Legacy mode need to be enabled to use LL and to use Windows flip on UEFI....

If you didn't change UEFI settings - you most likely installed in UEFI mode.

You may want to check for an OS selector as mentioned - it can also be set in the BIOS, look in the UEFI configurations - you will be able to choose Windows or Ubuntu(LL)
