Question to developers about upgrading

You should regularly run updates and whenever Linux Lite makes an in-series upgrade available, you should run that, too.  When the 4.x series arrives in June 2018, you don't have to upgrade to it because the 3.x series will still be supported until April 2021.  I have a desktop that is still on Linux Lite 2.8.  It is supported until April 2019.  No more in series upgrades are expected, but I regularly run updates on it.


There is no good reason to knowingly run an unsupported operating system or an out of date Internet browser, especially when Linux Lite makes it so easy not to.
