Software Updates Fail - Terminal Won't Launch

Ultimately you need to run the following command in terminal...

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Since terminal is not opening... Try the below ways to open in the meanwhile...


Ways to open Terminal:

  • [size=1em]using the terminal icon in the bottom left of the panel.[/size]
  • [size=1em]using ctrl-alt-t.[/size]
  • [size=1em]from Menu and type lxterminal - "Run lxterminal"[/size]
