I had lots of trouble downloading then trying to make themes work from the site listed in the help manual.
I have managed to get all the Themes that come with XFCE however, lots to choose from.
OpenĀ -system, add/remove software(synaptic package manager), enter password, type xfce in the search box.
It populates with all the packages relevant, even adds gtk theme support without all the hassle. I hope this helps everyone, better than chasing our tails installing stuff from the internet,
xfce4-goodies is the package name.
