Failed updates - lite-patch GPG and lite-themes
#1
I have just installed Linux Lite 6.2 on an old laptop, got through all the setup, but I cannot update it. After trying this last night I saved the file it gave me, I've attached that here.

As I said this was last night. I'm trying again to get it updated however its stuck on installing lite -themes and has been for around 20 minutes as I write this.

Thanks for reading, hopefully this can get sorted.

The lite-patch GPG error on first update is a known problem and the workaround is to run updates again which you have done.

Regarding the lite-themes appearing stuck - the advice on this issue has been to wait it out as it lite-themes is a large collection of small updates which take a long time to unpack and install - especially on older hardware.

Thanks for the reply, I turned the laptop off last night and left it until this morning. When I turned it back on again, it asked me to update, I did that, and it worked flawlessly. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, thanks for your help
