Can't Install Updates Or Lite Software

Hello Community. 

I'm using LL 3.8 on my very old Lenovo with:

Processor      : 2x Intel® Atom™ CPU N270  @ 1.60GHz
Memory      : 1532MB (977MB used)
Operating System      : Linux Lite 3.8

When I try to do updates, I get the following:

Also, when I try to install software, I get this error:

Lite Software Error:

- Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

- Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet and try again.

I am connected to the Internet, and the version of LL I'm using isn't scheduled to expire until April of this year.

I rebooted, and I tried installing updates again.  I got these error messages:

same thing for me yesterday on a fresh install, configured and installed away..all of a sudden it startedt working again after nagging about lock

Try the Package Repair feature in Lite Tweaks, then select a different repository via Software & Updates. Consider moving away from 3.8 support for it will end in less than 2 months (April 1st), then there will be no more updates, regardless
