I'm gone to MX Linux
#1
Hi all, just installed Linux Lite on one of the older boxes around here.
Other boxes run Zorin and Mint Mate which is my primary pc.
Since I wanted to escape Ubuntu due to their Snap intro I tried on this old box Debian, Sparky, Open BSD but all gave me problems which I needed to solve manually.
Since I don't want to fix everything under the hood anymore (spoiled with Mint) I decided to give Lite a try.
Last option was Mint XFCE but I like Lite so it will stay  Wink
Hope to find interesting ideas again and probably some help if I want the easy way out.

Gr,

Erwin

I'm leaving folks, Linux Lite is a neat distro for sure but it's giving me to much problems on the old box and runs too slow.
Very often it freezes the system and only option is witch off and back on to solve it.
Too bad, wishing you all the best I'm now running MX Linux which runs without any problems at all.
(ps my account can be deleted!)

[member=2]Jerry[/member]  Is the code input right to left? The older I get, which is really old now, the more I find myself moving from the left toward the right.

I can only see the need for that old software being useful for people who might create a movie, and they need the software to reflect the time period.
