Hi, developers of the one and only, best, Linux there is!
I have tried several different linux distros and like Linux-Lite the best, even over Ubuntu, one of the supposedly most popular distros! I recently went to download Ubuntu and had to get Gdebi to be able to download Google Chrome and Minecraft easily without any hassles. I had to get VLC media player, Gimp, and Gparted. You guys have it all there ready and easy to use!
Anyway, to my question here. I have an Acer Chromebook 15 CB5-571 that I redid the bios firmware so that I could clean install linux to it. BUT, it will only boot into a linux distro that supports UEFI. Ubuntu does, and you guys have one for Linux-Lite 4.2 which I have and have upgraded to 4.8, and everything runs nicely. I know that the new LTS is coming in a few months and have read in the forums here that you won't make any more with the UEFI boot. I am asking to not forget us who need that UEFI boot. PLEASE, will you make the next Linux-Lite LTS with a UEFI boot? I don't know if I can stand to have to go to Ubuntu just to run linux on my Chromebook.
Thanks,
Karen A.
