Installer ubiquity crashed during installation
#1
I installed linux-lite-3.8-64bit.iso and all went good until ubiquity crashed. I'm not sure if the error report was send.
After that I tried to first update/upgrade the live system but it turned out that it wouldn't succeed because there was no more space left on /

Luckily I could start Linux Lite after applying grub-mkconfig and grub-install on another installed Linux distro.

BTW, why are image files not allowed as attachments?

If you installed LL in a Virtual Machine, Virtual-Box Update crash the install.
You have to put them on hold, look for the other thread.

Also look for the forum rules on how to post pictures. Wink

Cheers!

Screenshots aren't attached, they're embeded. That way people can see them without having to download them all the time. Please see the Posting Guidelines thread under Introductions. Cheers Smile

I don't speak German (?). But good chance that if you installed and chose a different language than English, this is what crashed the install.
This also happens in other languages.
You have to install in English then follow the steps on the Lite Welcome screen.
Then, install your language at the Language step.
Also note that when asked to change folder names to your language afterwards, I suggest you say "No", this is also "broken", well at least in some languages, you maybe lucky Wink

Cheers!
