LL Twitter message
#1
I think that I have understood this correctly? A recent Twitter message made reference that LL versions from 2.0 onwards were available to download for new users.

Surely LL2.0 is no longer supported??  Using an old version of LL would put the machine at risk wouldn't it?

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick, yet again Smile

[member=149]newtusmaximus[/member]  -- The Twitter post is referring to bootable discs that are available for purchase in the L.L. store. The older versions have always been available for download, and versions back to 2.0 are also now available on disc.

Older versions of L.L. are not likely to put a computer at risk. You're thinking of the constant need for security updates... you're thinking of Windows. Smile

Whateverthing  But surely if the Kernel is no longer supported the machine will be at risk?  Otherwise what is the point in keeping updating the system??
