Previous restore points and admin password

I noticed when I went back to an earlier restore point that i required the OLD password for the admin user i had set up.  I make a list of the passwords that I use so this was not an issue, however no doubt in future there may be a point whereby the OLD password is forgotten particularly if the youth using the computer elects to change the pw.

So I thought I should find out in advance, what can you do if after updating you had to go back to a much earlier restore point and you didn't have the correct admin password?  Is there a way to still "get in"? 

I think in another post someone eluded to a user "admin" as not being the real admin and if so, what pw would this "real" admin respond to?
OR
what would one do in the above situation where you want to restore to the earlier point, but don't have the proper pw?

The best advice I can give is that you save all of the pws you use safely and using different methods/approaches; in a usb flash drive, in a notebook, in the cloud, in your e-mail, your mobile...you might as well use all of these options, cause no OS is "human error proof" so is up to users to try to take care of things like these for themselves, however, there are apps like keepass, lastpass and other similars  which can help in creating, managing and saving your passwords, pick one, try it and see if it suits your needs, if it doesn't try another till you find the one that suits you better.

So after considering this a while I decided that what I would do is two things to ensure I wouldn't inadvertently prevent myself or others from getting into the computer after restoring:

1) I decided to put the pw being used at that specific time into the title of the restore point and click rename.  Not the best security option, however if someone is into the system back area they are already in!  So my restore label might show as: 
GoodRestore-%^&*hyts2018-01-23

2) IF I or someone using the computer wishes to change the Admin password then once changed CREATE a new restore point and rename it putting the new pw into the title.

My password is "password", because nobody will guess.

Seriously though, I would recommend using a modular password with a variable character in it.
Like a color, a thing, the first letter of the related use, a 2-digt number and a special character.
Results in : Red + Sushi + L + 84 + $ = RedSushiL84$
The "L" being for Linux would be the only character that would change for another program/use.
For Skype, "S", so the password would be, RedSushiS84$
and so on...

Just an idea to help having easy to remember and (almost) all different secure passwords for different uses.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a freak, but, of course, if you have 3 different types of characters and 8-10 characters minimum, it pretty safe.
Modular passwords can't really be guessed until you have the magic formula. Mouahaha!
