Linux Lite desktop replaced by XFCE "Mouse" default
#1
For some reason, the desktop on my computer reverted to this:

Linux Lite 3.6. Upgraded yesterday, no such problem on reboots, turned on the computer today and this suddenly appeared.

I tried this solution and this one, to no avail.

Any way to solve this?

If you have a recent Systemback restore point, try reverting to it.  If not, start with the following:

Go to Panel Preferences (Menu, Settings, Panel).  Where you see Panel 1, there is a drop down.  You should have 2 panels.  Remove the one you don't want.

Assuming you removed the dock panel at the bottom and want to move the remaining top panel to the bottom, go to the General section of Panel Preferences, and uncheck Lock Panel.  Then you can grab the "ears" of the panel (ie. the far right or left of the panel), and drag the remaining panel to the bottom of your screen.  Then check the Lock Panel option to keep it in place.
