What's up with Firefox Sync?
#1
I just installed this OS on my pc once again and ran all the updates.
When I opened Firefox and went to Sync, there is NO log -in on the
page. Where is it?

It is displaying the Firefox sync Login page correctly, I don't use sync/never have, but checked for you if it displays. I am using Linux Lite 3.2 64 Bit, and Firefox 54.0 64 Bit.

It may be more updates will come down for you soon, if you recheck.
Did you install a theme that changed Firefox ?

No themes yet,  as they are all saved to the Sync account.

BTW: I am on 3.4 - 64bit

I have only used themes as per the LL Manual Tutorial, I used xfce-look.org, the 1 I tried themed the desktop and Firefox, it was why I asked etc.
Everyone likes to set their system the way they prefer, I understand this.

I have not used LL 3.4 so it will be more helpful for those who use it to say if it works for them in Firefox.

Edit - I have set up LL 3.4 in VB now, checked and the Firefox error was present, the solutions by [member=5414]firenice03[/member] , and [member=5916]trinidad[/member] resolve it in Vb too.

You are correct. The login on the sync page is missing. I have all the Firefox data collecting utilities enabled in data choices too. The question mark on the sync page takes you to sync help page which is uninfomative. Both LL 3.4 32 and 64bit. Perhaps you have to create a new account as some themes are no longer compatible version to version. Don't really know what's up yet. The sync login is in Firefox on my Debian 9 so I doubt it is a versioning problem.

I tested - I don't sync but no options were available.. I started in FF safemode (disabling all add-ons) I then was prompted to create/log-in...

I disabled from "help" -- "Restart with add-ons disabled"

I don't use add-ons on this box (Mini) tried changing themes, enabled was Arc Theme.. If I enabled another same blank page.
Checked extensions; no change disabling Ubuntu Mods...

Hopefully this helps

Think I figured it out.. enabling the default theme seems to fix it...

I'm running the default theme right now as I JUST installed the OS and haven't done much so far as I may need to re-install 3.2 .

?? Not sure but under appearance using FF with LL I have 3 Arc's, 2 Compact and a default...
For kicks have you tried disabling all add-ons? Setting default allowed sync to work.. This is a 32-bit pc

Also tested on my 64-bit (usin to default - other options also available) worked fine, changed to Arc and sync login was not an option..

Maybe try uninstall reinstall of FF using Synaptic...

You are correct firenice. Seems to be a problem with arc theme.
