I have version 2.94.

I use the giplayer (v0.51)  GUI from above.  Confirm no results today  from this either by the PID download or through search.

UPDATE: as of 21:00 GMT giplayer GUI getting  PID downloads and searches

iplayer addon is also working in Kodi.
It had never worked in Kodi for me, so the fixes solved that.

... get-iplayer seems to be back to normal this morning.
It downloaded the BBC programme list, including the 'Added' category,
and I was able to download the programmes I wanted 

Added on 3 April 2017...
From what I can gather, I think the problem I described in post #1 of this thread, which appears every now and then
with iplayer, is just an iplayer issue and doesn't mean iplayer has been withdrawn from circulation.  I'll therefore mark
this thread as solved as iplayer is working again (by itself), without requiring any intervention from me.
