If your info is correct, ;D looks like your on 32-bit LL??
Its probably Google Chrome, Support ended March 1st..
see the below:

We've removed Chrome from the Lite Software 32bit version.
For 32bit Google Chrome:
Open a terminal and do each of these commands one at a time:
Code:
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
sudo apt-get remove google-chrome-stable
Install Chromium via Lite Software. Do not keep Chrome installed on 32bit Linux Lite. You are placing your system at risk by taking this chance.
For 64bit Google Chrome:
Open a terminal and do each of these commands one at a time:
Code:
sudo sed -i -e 's/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/' "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list"
sudo sed -i -e 's/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/' "/opt/google/chrome/cron/google-chrome"

Firenice03,
Yes, I'm using a 32 bit machine and have used FF only. Have never used Chrome or installed it. Should I still do those commands?
thanks for replying.

You can confirm the package that is failing by using terminal.
If chrome run the above, if not it may depend on package.. Possibly in synaptic try reloading..
But post back which is failing...

Unless you have already run the fix before, you will need to run it for updates to work. The problem is that an item in the sources list is no longer accessible and the fix removes the item. It doesn't matter if you ever installed chrome or not. If you have a 32 bit system use the 32 bit instructions. If your system is 64 bit use the 64 bit instructions. Don't run both.

Looks good, you should be able to run Install Updates now without problems.
