VirtualBox install from Oracle site removed gksudo
#1
I installed VirtualBox from the Oracle website, and it looks like it removed the gksudo program. Fairly new to Linux, and didn't know that one app could remove another at install...

How can I get it back so that the update, system report, and other LinuxLite features work again?

Try in a terminal:

Code:
sudo apt-get install gdebi gksu lite-cleaner lite-controlcenter lite-software system-config-date lite-upgrade-series2

and next time, please don't get any software from websites, only use the package managers in Linux Lite to get software. In this particular case, Lite Software provides a reliable version of VirtualBox Smile

Definitely won't be doing that again - but how can I get Sublime Text 3 through the package manager? I wasn't able to find it.

There is a PPA for that - https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+arch...ime-text-3 Adding PPA's is covered in the Help Manual.
