Hi
    After a few problems with 2.6 that i have been unable to resolve... I have decided to reinstall and start again...

I would be grateful if someone could give me some advise in the easiest way to reinstall Linux Lite 2.6..

I have done a search on this forum on this subject but i found nothing......

Hi,

I would suggest you start with the Help Manual
It is excellent, and covers the Install Process
Post back if you have problems doing the install.
Upgrades WIP 2.6 to 2.8 - (6 X 2.6 to 2.8 completed on: 20/02/16 All O.K )

And I would suggest you to do a 3 partitions.

First one for system ( / )
Second one for swap ( swap ) I found 1 GB to be more than enough on all systems (depends on what you do though)
Third one for home ( /home )

I don't know if the manual cover this, but you have to select "Something else"

This way, you can later reinstall your system without losing data in your home partition.

Hi Thank you for the replys....

I decided to Erase disc and install Linux (Ditched the XP that was on HD)....  All problems resolved with this solution....

Pleased again....  Linux Lite is an outstanding OS.....
