I want to remove some of the packages that came pre-installed on Linux Lite.
What is the best way to remove them?
I don't want to muck up my system, all is running fine right now.
Thanks

I've wondered about that. I read somewhere that uninstalling default apps that come with a distro could hurt the stability. I'd be curious to hear the developer response. I would think that with an i7 processor, 32GB of RAM, and not executing the program(s) in question, you wouldn't feel any bloat.

Hit and miss depending on the size of package uninstall.
Synaptic will give a list of packages to be uninstalled like libraries. Before allowing you to proceed. In a new window popup. Under the "to be removed" arrow. Something that can break other applications if removed if they depend on the same libraries. So one must be careful with large applications before proceeding.
If you do not know what you are doing and things are working OK. I'd leave well enough alone.
Anyways. you might want to mention what packages you are talking about. At least.
