I installed 2.2 Beta a few days ago and now it's my favorite Linux distribution: easy to use, fast and versatile. So far I have experienced no glitches, though I can't get the weather screenlet to work for my address.
I gave up Windows a couple of years ago, feeling I had no control over the processes in my own computer. I especially like LL's lack of the paranoia that makes free access to my network files difficult in many other versions of Linux.

Hello, Virginian!
Welcome to Linux Lite. Hope you get the weather plugin working at your location.
My brother lives in Alexandria and has a farm near Charlottesville, so I'm up that way quite frequently...
