Real tree view in folders?
#1
Probably just missing a check mark somewhere but I can't find it.

I have multiple HDDs and each one has multiple folders and sub folders.  I'd like to be able to see each of the folders/sub folders in the tree view (on the left side bar).  I can see all the HDDs.  What do I need to do to see them?

Hi Monkeyman

Give this a try

Thunar > View > Side Pane > Tree

Is that what you're looking for?

I don't see anything that says "Thunar".  Where do I find it?

Ooops. My bad. Try this.

Menu > All > Home Folder

A window opens, this is Thunar.
Thunar is also called a file manager.

At the top of the window that just opened, click

View > Side Pane > Tree

Better?

That's EXACTLY what I needed!  Thanks.  (Sorry, I don't know all the Linux jargon.  I'm working on it.)
