Looks secure to me but I have no insider idea
Is it safe to use Chromium on LL ? I mean it is there but not really updated? Is it still owned by Google?

Yes, it does. I use chromium as my main browser and as far as I know it is the lastest version,
Code:
apt policy chromium
gives
Code:
Installed: 79.0.3945.130-1~deb10u1
Candidate: 79.0.3945.130-1~deb10u1

Without each others help there ain't no hope for us Smile

It looks like the bookmarks were imported.  Not sure on which attempt, but they appear to be persistent.

It does not look like my old windows default profile for Firefox will work.  Bith profiles are in the ./mozilla forler so I should get a choice when the browser loads and I do not.

Firefox telemetry data can be disabled, apparently
https://www.zdnet.com/article/firefox-no...about-you/
"However, if users are still uncomfortable with allowing Mozilla to collect even the most basic details about their browser install, they can disable Firefox's telemetry feature from the browser's settings section, at about:preferences#privacy in the "Firefox Data Collection and Use" section"
