Linux Lite run slow
#1
Hi I new in Linux Lite and I change Windows to Linux Lite because I want that my laptop run faster. I feel that Linux Lite is not very fast that I want. I have a dual core and 4 GB of ram. I want to know if I have to install any driver or som thing. Thanks.

There are plenty of people here who would like to help you, but I think the reason no one has responded yet is because your post is too vague.

In what way slow.  On the face of it your system should run well.  It looks as if it is the same as my desktop in terms of spec.
Try posting details  from menu/system/system information/summary.Also data from menu/system/system information/PCI Devices.

LL on Core2 duo Intel with 4g RAM should run very fast. Much faster then Windows 7. Read the release notes. There are suggestions regarding Vbox there that will speed up boot. Also network connections could be slowing you down too and poorly configured PCI devices. You need to post hardware information and what specifically seems slow. Also, I'm just guessing, but if your native language is Spanish Moltke who is very capable should be able to help you in the Spanish section of the forum.
