Minimized Windows not Showing Up On Panel
#1
When I minimize a windows, shouldn't it be shown on the bottom panel? So you can click on it to bring it up?
It's not happening on my setup. I often "lose" windows that way, and have to keep hitting alt + tab to find them again.

Thanks,

Mike

Screenshot really doesn't show anything, just a normal desktop.

I just discovered the middle-click setting under Desktop Settings, so now I can see and choose between the applications I have opened. Still, it would be nice to see them on the panel, so I could click on them there. Maybe there's a way to do that; I'll keep searching (at the risk of screwing things up again Wink

Try rightclick on panel/panel preferences/Items/ select Window buttons/ Edit selected item
The setting might be in there! I'm on LL3.8 though and haven't tried changing any settings in case I 'mess it up'.
1) Lenovo T520 i5 LL3.8 8GB ram, fast & stable
2) Medion P4 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, quite fast & stable
3) eeePC 901 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, fast & stable
4) eeePC 701 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, slower & stable but small and light enough to travel with me to New Zealand when visiting family in Blenheim.

When you go to Panel Preferences, click on the Items tab and make sure you see the entry "Window Buttons" as seen in my screenshot below.  If it is not there, click on the plus (+) symbol to the right and add it (ie. Window Buttons).
