That's not enough information for people to go on. When you create a Support request, always include at least:

- The software
- The hardware
- Provide a system report via Create System report and attach it to your thread.

The more information you give, the more eager people will be to assist you.

Hope this helps Smile

Here's one idea; open a terminal and type
Code:
speaker-test
if sound server is working you should hear something and see an output like this:
Code:
speaker-test 1.1.5

Playback device is default
Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 1 channels
Using 16 octaves of pink noise
Rate set to 48000Hz (requested 48000Hz)
Buffer size range from 192 to 2097152
Period size range from 64 to 699051
Using max buffer size 2097152
Periods = 4
was set period_size = 524288
was set buffer_size = 2097152
0 - Front Left
Time per period = 10,948411
0 - Front Left
Time per period = 10,951177

Also, you might want to read here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/Testing

Hope this helps! Smile
