battery and heat issues.

Since installing LL 2.0 I have noticed a quicker drain on the battery and the machine appears to run hotter. Any IDEAs guys why this might be happening.

Open Synaptics and use "Battery" as the search string.

There are several programs to save battery power.

"Laptop Mode Tools" is highly recommended.

There is a wealth if information on Ubuntu Forums on this.
