Volume control on XFCE panel missing
#1
I have unsuccessfully searched this forum and the internet with DuckDuckGo for a solution.

The volume control icon in the notification area of my XFCE panel has disappeared. In Add New Items the Notification Area is there but grayed out so I can not add a new one or modify my current one. I added PulseAudio Plugin but prefer the XFCE Volume Control. Has the PulseAudio Plugin replaced the XFCE plugin? If not, how do I get the XFCE one back?

Volume control is under the Indicator Plugin.  If that item is gone, you need go to Panel Preferences and Add that New Item.

Thank, [member=5239]torreydale[/member]. Indicator Plugin was not there. Synaptic showed it installed. I reinstalled it and it worked.  8)
