Need recommendations and thoughts on this machine.

After reading forums here and yon, I installed 32 bit Linux Lite 3.0. After getting through all the trials of getting the Broadcom wireless working, the machine runs smoothly. I installed 32 because mention was made that if you're only running 2GB memory, 32 works best. Supposedly this is max for the machine, though I have read in some forums that it will handle 4GB. I have tried 64 and it runs as fast as the 32, it seems? Question is, with the lack of support on so many things nowadays in 32. Should I go ahead and update to 64 and be done with it? Thanks in advance for comments and feed back...

Yes, go ahead and put 64-bit on it.  Uses slightly more memory during operation than 32-bit, but difference shouldn't matter at all with 2GB of RAM.  If you only had 512MB RAM that would a different story.

You're welcome.

I've got 64-bit versions of Linux installed to two laptops with only 2GB of RAM and both work great:  an HP Elitebook 2530p and a Dell Latitude 2120.
