Thunar 1.6.10 crashes
#1
Not sure if i'm posting this in the right section but ever since I installed LL 3.0, my home folder/thunar have been closing/crashes randomly often when I rename a file or move a file into a different folder.

I decided to google search the problem and apparently it's a common bug with thunar 1.6.10 that many people had problems with. There's a patch out for it but i have yet installed it and tried it out yet.

I don't know if you know about it Jerry or if you fixed it in LL 3.2 beta.

I tried the "check then uncheck 'Show file size in binary format'"  and it still crashes

I can build a new Thunar with all the patches in place, BUT, it is with the understanding that these will be the roughly hacked together and the last Thunar you'll get in Series 3. Or, you can wait and see when Thunar is fixed via Ubuntu.

Are the thunar updates important? If not then I wouldn't mind using the hack.

If the thunar updates are important, then maybe I could just wait and use PCManFM in the meantime.

You have to weigh up what is more important to you.
