32 or 64 bit advice

Just a quick update on LL 2.8 on Stream 11 with kernel 4.5.0
I had everything working except "Bluetooth", I now that working.

I won't bore you with all the details, having visited many, many sites & tried a myriad of suggestions, in the end it was a very simple fix.
I found the solution in a comment at the end of a solution for a different type of Broadcom Bluetooth device, but thought I would try it.

I found this:

For Ubuntu 15.10+ and 14.04 with kernels 4.2+ the second command should be

sudo cp BCM20702A0-0a5c-216f.hcd /lib/firmware/brcm/BCM.hcd

The clue was was comment on kernel 4.2+.
I renamed my BCMxxxxxxx.hcd to just BCM.hcd
Bingo... It works

i had to install it before i could really play with linux lite 2.8 i could not update it and install anything but it make sense because your just loading an iso image so you cant do much then just look at everything unless you install on a separate usb drive then it should run fine try that and update it you may be able to clone it to your base HD for an easy way to have everything run but on a basic spin-up HD just install it its it can rewrite nearly an infinite amount of times. but a usb you can only do a small amount of times if anything use a smaller 40 gb drive as a " scrap drive for os testing to see if you like it or not before you install it permanently

hope this helps that is more less what i was doing till my main ssd died not im planing to boot with a pcmcia compact flash 32gb drive as boot and a 2 tb HD for storage

The main motivator for this was a pure can it be done and some fun.
There are a lot of cheap(especially Chinese) Netbooks/Media devices all based around similar hardware,
they have limited disk space 32GB & 2GB memory available, all non-upgradeable.
My conclusion is you can get a cheapish small device for "on-the-go" and still have Linux Lite.

These Intel Chips are pretty good.
The N3xxx series vs a common J1900 Celeron 50% less power and good performance.

Also they compete very well with the common mid range Core Duo's,
They benchmark @ 1200 ~1800, but take 5 ~10 X more power(35~65 watt)
