Restoring a single file

To avj,

Your last posts gets closer to the goal, but it appears it wants to restore the previous version of a file or directory that already shows in one's file manager (aka Thunar).  If a file or directory has been deleted but you know you've backed it up before, the link to the other forum post doesn't seem to cover that.

Sorry about that, according to the man page for deja dup the correct options for restoring a missing file are
