So if you can help it continue

No Problem ... Try to use the code (#) or [ code][ /code] (without spaces) when posting the output..

Code:
Network Card-1: Broadcom BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller driver: WL bus ID: 02: 02.0
           IF: N / A state: N / A Mac: N / A

So lets look in update hardware (go to menu and type hardware) under additional see if there are updates for the Broadcom device..
If there are, install those, reply back if helped or ???

If not... In Synaptic (Menu - System - Install/Remove Software).  Begin typing "bcm" should list additional items (try above 1st)
(See https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/installing-software/%28solved%29installing-updates/msg6718/#msg6718)

You may want to use the search feature lots of stuff for Broadcom...

When I mention using  [ code] OUTPUT GOES HERE [ /code] this will format the output into the code boxes, like this:
Code:
OUTPUT GOES HERE
It makes it easier to read and notice it allows one to select the code, then one can copy and paste into a terminal - - lessening the chance of a typo...
