Linux Lite 2.8 Suggestion Thread
#71
Trying out the Adwaita Graphene and it looks good, I set the window manager to default it is easier on my eyes.

Not bad - Humanity Icons (I like the color difference in the shut down icons)..

Only thing I see is - Notice the tabs in Firefox, highlighted tab color is blocked, doesn't wrap the tab...

I like the look of this but have learned my lesson installing .tar.gz files. http://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/games-.../#msg17592

I like dark themes ever since using the dark theme in LL 1.0.8. I have been using BleuFear for well over a year now and it works great! I "borrowed" it from Spatry's Cup of Linux Manjaro but it can be gotten here http://http://m4xm4n.deviantart.com/art/...-271798366

I tweak it with the Mediterranean Light Window Manager theme.

I use the Gnome-Brave icons for the blue folders to go with the theme, the wire mesh trash can, traditional restart & shut down icons. These icons are available by Synaptic.

@Coastie, with the BleuFear theme, do you have any trouble selecting the 'Select' boxes in Lite Tweaks?

No problem. Not a lot of contrast around boxes and background but nice blue check marks. (I always sort by Status because I only use Safe options.)

@Jerry -

The theme looks good, but for me personally it doesn't look good with Faenza icons...
Humanity icons fits better.

Even better with Numix Circle icons. It gives it a great colors and all.

So... I would use Humanity, or better yet, Numix Circle icons with this theme (I think Numix has more icons packages, but they aren't complete).

If you really want to use Faenza icons, I would keep the current theme (for now). Faenza looks good with current theme, but not Adwaita Graphene.

It's all personal taste and choice of course.

EDIT: I found out that some text isn't visible with this theme in a web browser. Probably a problem of many dark themes.
I think the current default theme is better anyway.

The "Graphics Card:" part of the Linux Lite Control Centre is kind of vague in describing what graphics card is in the system (at least on AMD machines). Can it be more detailed? (like something akin to Ubuntu's About this Computer on the Graphics listing area).

Since the XFCE Log Out dialogue buttons for Suspend and Hibernate don't work properly, but the Suspend and Hibernate options of the Power Manager do work properly, is it possible to get the operation of the XFCE Suspend and Hibernate buttons to point to the Suspend and Hibernate operations of the Power Manager?  If so, that would be my suggestion for version 2.8.
