Hi,
Possible bug in LL2.6 beta.
1. Installed LL2.6 to a 32GB usb stick
2. Installed many programs.
3. Used Systemback to create a live usb image and converted it to an .iso image.
4. Moved and saved the image to my internal HDD.
5. Re-Booted and checked 32Gb install. Everything OK.
6. Used Systemback to create a live DVD, which finished correctly.
But
Both my original install to the 32Gb stick and the newly created live DVD are now missing
the icons for volume and Bluetooth. In their place is a section titled “no indicators”.
Also the network icon, which was originally positioned in the spot where the “no indicators” now appears, is now positioned between the keyboard and battery icons.

All my installed programs work fine and no other glitches have been found.
Has anyone experienced this bug and how do I get back my icons in place of the “no indicators”.

Also in the beta version, I noticed that when installing to the 32Gb stick, the first install info screen still refers to ver 2.4 and not 2.6. Only minor and probably easily fixed.

BTW, ver2.6 is fantastic.

Will do, Jerry! I need to go through the full install again to locate where it is and to find a spare stick. Cheers!

Here is a screenshot of my desktop referred to in my post sans bluetooth and volume icons, after using Systemback. Both the booted system and the new live DVD are missing the icons. Any clues how to fix? Thanks.

Hello Jerry,
This is the reference to 2.4 in the 2.6 install process. Sorry to take so long, but had to replenish my USB sticks.
