Are there any additional errors?

In VB at open "File > Preferences"
Click "Extensions"
Is the installed extension green?

No. When I start the machine, the window opens, immediately closes & the dialog box opens with the text I copied in my post. I did a quick search of LL, Ubuntu & Vbox  forums, finding a couple of "close, but no cigar" posts, but noting affecting the current software versions.

Your cpu does not support virtualization so you will be unable to use VirtualBox.
