Linux Replacements for Windows Programs
#61
Hmmm... good question.

Maybe add a "Generic / Non-Replacement" section?  This is turning out to be a good overall app list.

I'm a cherrytree lover because it's got a nice icon, evernote replacement.

I've used it for years, it's got a windows version and is very actively developed

ukbrian,

I'm a CherryTree user also, amazing app.
I keep the files on my NAS so I can access the notes from any PC.

Hello riser,
it strays from the concept of the title "Linux Replacements for Windows Programs", I didn't choose the title, I was less concise in my choice (as I often am lol).
So I would not be able to make the decision to change the title myself, you would need to ask Jerry.

I was reading your post and found a link to everpad the evernote alternative which I find very useful and productive. I am installing now but, it said ubuntu 12.04 I hope it is still useful unless this post is just old, still I hope it still works none the less. Thanks!!!! ;D

Hello!

Kompozer has become quite dated as a Dreamweaver replacement, IMO. I'm now using BlueGriffon, instead...
