Hmm... I'm on 5.0 and am fully updated, but for some reason am not finding Lite Upgrade anywhere in my menu (visual or search). Is there a way to upgrade "manually"?

My apologies, in my excitement to upgrade to 5.2 I misunderstood the "If your'e missing Lite Upgrade..." instructions for if it's missing AFTER the upgrade. D'Oh! Now that I'm actually paying attention, everything is working as expected. Thanks for your patience with my impatience! :-D

Hello again.
So, I have this little problem: I upgraded LL today from 4.8 to 5.0 (I didn't do directly to 5.2 because I already had my bootable stick with 5.0) in my desktop computer, and now, trying to upgrade to 5.2, Linux lite Upgrade Utility aborts. Here's what it shows: https://imgur.com/IP15jvi.png I have to say that trying to get it I switched the repository mirror and had no effect. I have stable internet conection.

You sure this stick is not the BETA/Test version of LL5.0? Beta's do not have the option to upgrade. Also, you will want to Update LL5.0 (Lite Updates) then try to Upgrade to LL5.2 (Lite Upgrade)....

I'm sure it's the stable version. I know where I downloaded it and it's also the one I use in my laptop (that I upgraded to 5.2 without problems). Also, I have already updated LL5.0. Not only using Lite Updates, but with Code: apt update Code: apt-get update Code: apt upgrade Code: apt-get upgrade Maybe you know any other way to try it. Edit: The problem was solved. The issue here was that the LL repository is down, but Jerry pointed it to one of the mirrors and now everything is good. My machine is now LL5.2. |
