ps. I have now gone back to Thunar. It is far "lighter" on my machine and I've been able to tweak it to almost what I want, so that's OK by me and eminently workable.

For the item entries, in the command I entered "thunar" followed by a space, and the folder name of the folder for each item.
Example: thunar Documents
Excelent idea. It's where all the users migrating from Wintendo expect it to be.
