Thanks for the reply and yes, I did find that in the Help Section. That isn't what I'm looking for...
When you set up Encryption and LVM during the install of say Ubuntu or it's official spins you are allowed to choose the options during the install when picking what to do with the HDD and other OS partitions on the machine. If these option are chosen, you are required to enter a password at boot that decrypts the HDD.
There may be a way to do it post install but I'm not close to knowledgeable enough to attempt it but I'm thinking I can do it during the install by manually partitioning the drive. I just need to find a good tutorial to do so.
Anyone else have some thoughts?
