Installing skype and failing

Hi Zrcadlo.  Maybe this will help.  The information below is a copy and paste from the Linux Lite Help Manual.


Other Software - Install popular programs

Skype - A popular voice, webcam and instant messaging client.

Open a terminal and type:
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install skype -y

When the install has finished, Skype can be found in Menu, Internet.
