While I do understand your frustrations it's important to note the following:

While I do understand your frustrations it's important to note the following:
- Linux and distributions such as LL are often made by people who are volunteering time and money to make a free OS. For the most part there is not a massive company such as Microsoft funding the development.
- For what it's worth, your specific issue is likely due to files with DRM (digital rights management) which is not the fault of Linux. In fact it's stuff like that which drives people to contribute to projects like Linux Lite. Your files and software should be controlled by you and not the other way around.
- Bill Gates' first versions of Windows had bugs too. It's not until many people worked together that it became more reliable and easy to use. The same goes for Linux. I guess what I'm saying is that Windows and Linux would not be what they are today without the contributions of many people. You can't give Bill all the credit.
