For the overwhelming percentage of the time, it works great for me. also. Don't get me wrong; on every other 'puter I have, I use My Weather Indicator. I posted this because i have one netbook that doesn't want to run My Weather Indicator properly. As a result,  I propose this as a possible solution for others who may also need a third alternative

Not necessarily better. They're just a little different, but not much. The newest version of Indicator Weather came out in early 2014; nonetheless, I am uncertain whether or not it is still in active development.

Yes, different sources, one of them is weather.com (The Weather Channel?), and I THINK Yahoo is the other one it uses...
