Great minds... I just did this on my HP15-TS with LL 2
From what I read, it was supposed to be in 14.04 standard.??, but I had to install:

sudo apt-get install onboardI guess it would have to be in "Start-up" for it to launch automatically.
Also if you want it to "automatically" appear when you have text input options,
It needs to install a bunch of gnome stuff..?? I've not investigated that yet.
((To be honest, It's more out of curiosity, I've never really been into touch, except on phones/tablets))
