OK, I think that confirms that it will be better use of your time to re-install than try to sort it out over a forum.

I think I'm going to reinstall Linux Lite and learn how to make backups so I don't have to install everything from scratch again.

Use backups, save update logs and select additional applications with care.

Safe and reliable sources for applications are Lite Software (first) and Package Manager.
Using PPAs carries more risk, but can be researched.
Installing software by other methods means increased risk.

I don't use game emulation, but it looks like Emudeck will try to install zenity.
Zenity is deliberately held back (not updated) in Linux Lite 7.0
So it may have been that install which broke your system.  Be sure to back up if you try to install emudeck again.
